Year 6 Residential

What a fantastic time the year 6 children had on the Residential Activity Week. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather as it stayed dry and warm for our week’s camping in the Mendip Hills.

A full and fun-packed programme was created for us by the amazing staff at the Mendips Activity Centre. The children experienced team-building, rock climbing, abseiling, archery, kayaking, assault course, bush-craft, tobogganing, orienteering and disc golf during the day. Evenings were also an active time, with trips to the beach, night walks, wide games and finishing on our last night with a campfire.

The children have learnt new skills, pushed themselves to tackle a challenge, developed new friendships and learnt to be independent, resilient and adventurous. A fabulous week that will be a lasting memory.
