2023 is the first year that results will be published following a break from publishing results due to the pandemic.

All of these outcomes for 2022-23 are provisional until the data is verified by the DfE.

Summary 2022-23 Key Results

Key Stage 2 outcomes are based on externally marked tests, sat in exam conditions, in all subjects except writing and science, which are teacher assessed.  National average figures published by the DfE can be viewed on this link for comparison.

The Multiplication Times Table Check is taken by pupils at the end of year 4

Pupils take the phonics screening check at the end of year 1, typically aged 6. Pupils who do not meet the expected standard take the check again at the end of year 2, typically aged 7.

Pupils are assessed at the end of key stage 1 (year 2) in reading, writing, maths and science.
