Road Safety

Thank you to all those parents who are parking safely and with consideration near the school, avoiding blocking neighbours right of access to their properties.

Throughout the year, we have had Road Safety talks for all year groups. This helps the children to understand how to be safe as they travel to and from school.

Parents can help by ensuring that they use the crossing outside school to cross Powdermill Lane, park safely in the local roads and build on what the children have learnt in school. Road safety is best taught in a practical setting meaning that parents are ideally placed when walking their children to school to discuss road safety topics such as safe and dangerous places to cross the road.
