Science and Road Safety

It’s been great to welcome visitors into school and over the last two weeks we have had ‘Sublime Science’ and Road Safety Experts work with the children.

Sublime Science came to highlight science week and the children in KS2 had workshops throughout the day. There was lots of exciting science on display. Slime, rockets, gravity defying experiments, creating thunder, chemical reactions and more that kept the children entertained whilst teaching important scientific concepts. In the afternoon, KS1 had a science demonstration in the hall, with more exciting experiments to enjoy.

KS1 have had a visit by a Road Safety expert. The children have been looking at how to cross the road safely and the importance of stop, look, listen, think and hold a hand to cross the road.
