Mighty Zulu Nation Theatre Company

We were very excited when the Mighty Zulu Nation Theatre Company came to visit our school to celebrate Black History Day on Friday 5th February.

 The company of drummers and singers performed for the entire school traditional songs and dances.

The audience really did ‘…experience the heartbeat of Africa as they observed the powerful dance sequences and mesmerizing Zulu war chants. Also fascinating aspects of their culture were imparted to the children.’

This theatre group has been praised as ‘ the most successful multi-cultural cross curricular experience to ever tour UK schools’.  The interactive workshops were fun and highlighted aspects of geography, history and social life of modern and traditional Zulu culture.

We were delighted to welcome them to our school and we would like to thank them again hugely for visiting us!
