KS2 Sports Day

Following last Friday’s successful Sports Day, we enjoyed another fantastic morning. I’m not sure how some children had any voices left with all the cheering and chanting they did for their House Team. All children participated well, competing in teams to win points for their houses. Ridgewaye were the eventual winners, although Barnetts were close behind and within a whisker of taking the glory. Thanks go to the PTA for providing refreshments and to the Gardiners for providing the PA equipment.

Year 6 contested the annual cake race, with this year 6W winning the prize!

We have been incredibly successful this year in Sporting Competitions but it was lovely to see the strength and depth of ability across the school. Well done to our Sports Coaches, Mrs Hookway, Mr Dodd, Wayne and James.
